Information for Military Students

Our Lady of the Lake University is committed to providing educational opportunities for members of our nation’s military, who have and continue to sacrifice much for our safety. We understand that the pursuit of higher education by active military and armed forces veterans can be a challenging proposition, particularly in terms of cost and scheduling.

Online learning can be ideal for military students, as it provides a level of flexibility not possible in most on-campus programs. To help make this opportunity available to military students, OLLU provides access to dedicated staff within the Financial Aid office to answer questions and provide guidance throughout the process.

Military students receive a 10% tuition discount on OLLU’s online programs and may be able to tap into reimbursement funds available from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) as part of the Post 9/11 G.I. Bill for those who’ve served in the armed forces after September 11, 2001. Keep in mind that the amount of tuition funding from the VA depends on a veteran’s length of service since 9/11.
